Recap
The Aces faced off against the Minute Men in the second game of the doubleheader. The Minute Men’s Wyatt Frontiero opened up the scoring on a wicked snappah from the blue line assisted by Scott Mezack with 18:36 left in the first period. It was a fitting way to start the Revolution as Mezack and Frontiero have played on the same team no matter what the team since they were five years old. The score was tied 2-2 after one period, but the Minute Men scored two goals in the second on their way to a 5-3 win over the Aces. Frontiero and Alex Noti each had two goals with Georgie boy wheeling one out for the Minute Men as well. Carter Harden added two assists. Gavin Frost contributed a goal and an assist for the Aces in his first game in Tampa Bay with the other two goals coming from Michael Scianna and Nathan Salazar. Shots on goal for the game were Aces 31, Minute Men 40.
