Sand Sharks Assistant Coach Mark Souza reached out to a former player from his tenure with the Swamp Rabbits looking to fill a few holes on the third line. The result was the Sharks adding Christopher Maybury. Maybury who is a 2004 born player will help fill the Sand Sharks roster and will be expected to be in the line up this Saturday vs the Aces at TBSA. Maybury signed a contract for the remainder of the season. In keeping with FIHL policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
