The Sting Rays signed Kane Eanes to a one year deal just before Saturdays game vs the Sand Sharks. Eanes, a 2007 born player currently also playing for the Storm, brings a high IQ and Hockey know how to the Rays roster. It paid off with instant dividends as he tallied 2-2-4 on the score sheet in an 8-5 failed effort to hand the Sharks their first loss. The signing is a big boost for the Sting Rays and will add some solid depth to the roster. In keeping with league policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
